National Federation of the Blind Tennessee
The purpose of the National Federation of the Blind Tennessee is to assist all blind Tennesseans to live and work as equal participants of society. We aim to reap the full benefits promised to us by the Declaration of Independence, “Life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness”.
As a team, the mission of the National Federation of the Blind Tennessee is to do whatever we can to spread our positive blindness philosophy while also teaching people the truth about blindness. We will show through hope, love and our own personal examples that blindness is not the characteristic that defines our future because with proper training and equal opportunity, blind people can transform their dreams into reality. Please join us in helping to change what it means to be blind in the great state of Tennessee.
